We are looking for a Senior Buyer.
As a part of JCI's Indirect Procurement organization, you will function as a procurement business partner, interfacing directly with one or more business units to ensure category strategies, programs, and corporate initiatives are effectively and efficiently deployed. You will play a critical role supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, enabling Engineering teams through timely sourcing, supplier engagement, and contract execution to ensure successful product development and launch. You will lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings and trade working capital improvements across manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and corporate offices, with a strong focus on supporting day-to-day business operations and enabling growth across expanding business units. This role is responsible for evaluating sources of supply, leading sourcing events, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the acquisition of goods and services at the optimal balance of cost, quality, service, and speed, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
