Bluelight is a leading software consultancy seeking a Business Analyst to bridge clients, product teams, and engineers. You will run discovery, map processes, write user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring delivered work solves real problems.

You will work across client builds, maintenance engagements, and Bluelight's internal products, shaping scope and estimates for new projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst on software projects.
• Experience turning ambiguous input into structured requirements.
• Experience with discovery sessions and process mapping.
• Ability to discuss APIs, integrations, databases with engineering.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to lead client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with clients and internal teams.
• Document current-state and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions.
• Support sizing by breaking scope into epics and stories.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and questions early; drive resolution.
• Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria in Jira.
