This fully remote role focuses on designing and implementing high-performance data processing pipelines and managing extensive datasets. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience in software engineering, strong Java skills, and expertise in Apache Spark. The position demands collaboration with remote teams based in LATAM, requiring excellent English communication skills for daily collaboration and meetings.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend applications.
• Strong production-level experience in Java (Spring Boot or similar).
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop high-performance data processing pipelines using Java.
• Build and maintain distributed systems for processing User Session data efficiently.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize compute resource performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate experimentation needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews.
