Bluelight Consulting is a leading software consultancy focused on delivering innovative technology and exceptional service to clients. You will contribute to challenging projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps, strong AWS hands-on experience (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC), Terraform or CloudFormation, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and a security-conscious mindset. Overlap US hours and a Bachelor's degree are expected.

Formación

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with deployment automation and tested rollback paths, including rollback drills.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar).
• Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
• Security-first mindset: experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews.
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
