Job summary

Delinea is seeking a senior backend engineer to enhance AI agent discovery across cloud platforms and endpoints. You will evaluate security posture and integrate agent data into the identity governance layer, enabling comprehensive protection of human and machine identities.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering, Securing AI, and requires deep cloud and backend experience, with a focus on building scalable discovery and security capabilities across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production cloud or SaaS backend systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud provider APIs (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and asset discovery or inventory systems.
• Experience extending or integrating with an existing platform, not only greenfield builds.
• Strong skills in a modern backend language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agent discovery on top of Delinea's existing cloud discovery, covering Azure today and expanding to AWS and Google Cloud.
• Build discovery for AI agents running on endpoints.
• Assess the security posture of discovered agents: how they are configured, what they can access, and where they create risk.
• Feed discovered agents and their context into our identity and attribution layer so they can be governed.
• Partner closely with the platform teams whose discovery services your work builds on.
