Bombardier in Mexico is seeking an experienced engineer to provide technical guidance on aerospace materials and processing. You will review drawings, prepare test plans and participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams.

Required are a minimum of six years in aerospace production, knowledge of aluminum/steel/titanium materials, and familiarity with SAE/AMS/MIL specs. English communication is essential; French is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in Materials, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of six years of experience in an aerospace/military production environment.
• Knowledge of aerospace materials and standard hardware and processes for aircraft manufacture.
• Familiar with aluminum, steel and titanium and their corrosion behaviors.
• Experience with Heat Treatment, Shot Peening and Surface Treatment of aluminum.
• Familiar with SAE, AMS, MIL specs and related aerospace standards.
• Proficient in engineering design principles and drawing reviews.
• Able to solve engineering problems in high-pressure environments and manage priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical engineering guidance to designers, engineers, and technicians on materials and processing.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, change documents, and certification plans.
• Evaluate different metallic materials, their processes and limitations.
• Prepare test plans, analyze results and write certification reports.
• Participate in design reviews with product development teams.
• Review production process documents and recommend approvals.
