Alcon is seeking a Sr. Accounting & Reporting Specialist focused on inventory with hybrid presence in Mexico City. You will drive IFRS-compliant accounting, prepare journal entries, and lead balance sheet reconciliations while coordinating with local and regional teams.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, IFRS and SOX exposure, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) and strong Excel. Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential for success in a global, diverse environment.

Formación

• 3+ years hands-on accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Experience supporting audits (internal/ external) and SOX controls
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting within deadlines per IFRS.
• Prepare accurate journal entries and robust monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders for timely issue resolution.
• Communicate with finance teams to address queries while following Alcon standards.
• Meet SLA/KPI targets and respond to audit findings.
