Banyan Tree Veya in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico, is seeking a Security Manager to lead all security operations across the resort, ensuring a secure environment that supports seamless luxury guest experiences.

You will develop safety protocols, oversee emergency response, train the security team, and collaborate with departments to protect guests, employees, and assets while upholding Banyan Tree's philosophy “I am with you”.

Formación

• Proven experience in security management within hospitality or similar environments (3–7 years).
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Experience in fire safety systems, evacuation protocols, and first aid (CPR preferred).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with guests.
• English proficiency (intermediate to advanced preferred).
• Leadership presence with team management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage departmental budgets and performance strategies
• Ensure full compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and security procedures
• Lead, train, and supervise security team members, fostering discipline and professionalism
• Oversee emergency response protocols, including fire, evacuation, and incident management
• Maintain accurate and timely security reports, logs, and documentation
• Ensure proper handling of Lost & Found processes
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities when required
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and civil protection programs
• Respond to incidents with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
• Promote a proactive security culture aligned with guest experience excellence

• Ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets
