Amazon Worldwide Operations Security seeks a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist (SLP Specialist) to lead protection of people, product, and data in a designated building. The role reports to the Cluster Manager and collaborates with operations and cross-functional teams to maintain safe, compliant sites.

The position involves investigations, vulnerability assessment, crisis support, and liaison with internal/external partners.

Formación

• Experience in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, audit, investigations, law enforcement, risk management, data analytics, inventory control, quality assurance or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct confidential investigations and prepare written reports of theft, fraud, and critical incidents.
• Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Serve as department liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert for site leadership keeping them informed on key issues, strategies, and the department’s performance.
• Develop strategies for alarm reduction and conduct system diagnostic for problematic devices by engaging and resolving issues with internal and external partners.
• Domestic regional travel up to 25% of the time when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach; Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts; Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud; Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments); Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs).
• This role covers 24/7 operations and must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
