Dematic, part of KION Group, invites an SAP MES/DM Consultant to join the Manufacturing IT Global Team in Monterrey. You will develop and support SAP MES/DM solutions across production environments, collaborating with global and local stakeholders to enable efficient manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes configuring SAP applications, integrating shop-floor systems, and contributing to international rollouts and projects within an IT-driven manufacturing setting.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience in SAP MES, SAP Digital Manufacturing, MES, or a related manufacturing technology environment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MES and/or SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM).
• Understanding of MES and shop-floor or production environments.
• Experience with SAP application configuration and customization.
• Experience working with system integrations and interfaces in manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of manufacturing and production processes and how IT systems support shop-floor operations.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
• Experience supporting, implementing, or enhancing enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support, maintain, and further develop SAP MES / SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) applications within the Manufacturing Execution environment.
• Configure and customize SAP manufacturing applications according to business and production requirements.
• Support decentralized shop-floor systems and their integration with SAP solutions.
• Design and implement interfaces and customer-specific solutions within the Manufacturing Execution landscape.
• Analyze business and production requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions.
• Create concepts and support the realization, implementation, testing, and deployment of new solutions and enhancements.
• Create and maintain system and process documentation, including documentation of developments and adaptations.
• Support international rollouts of SAP MES/DM solutions across KION locations.
• Participate in international projects and take ownership of assigned project activities.
• Provide application support and contribute to the stability and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and internal training when required.
• Collaborate with international IT teams, manufacturing stakeholders, and production users.

As MES Consultant will be part of the Manufacturing IT Global Team responsible for the SAP modules MES / DM in KION Group IT. The person will take the responsibility for developing and supporting SAP MES / DM in the production area, making a significant contribution to the IT Services delivered by KION Group IT, as well as the development of the newly created KION IT Service Hub in Monterrey.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an SAP MES/DM Consultant to join our Manufacturing IT Global Team. In this role, you will support and further develop SAP Manufacturing Execution and Digital Manufacturing solutions used across KION Group.

You will work closely with global and local stakeholders to support production environments, customize applications, integrate shop-floor systems, and contribute to the rollout of manufacturing solutions across different locations.

What You Will Do in This Role

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in SAP Manufacturing Execution, SAP Digital Manufacturing, MES, or a related manufacturing technology environment.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP MES and/or SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM).
• Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop-floor or production environments.
• Experience with SAP application configuration and customization.
• Experience working with system integrations and interfaces in manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of manufacturing and production processes and how IT systems support shop-floor operations.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
• Experience supporting, implementing, or enhancing enterprise applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with international SAP MES/DM implementations or rollouts.
• Experience with system and process documentation using tools such as Confluence or Visio.
• Experience delivering internal training or knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Exposure to customer‑specific solution design.
• Previous experience participating in international IT or manufacturing projects.
• Experience supporting production‑critical manufacturing applications.
