Job Summary

Kids2 operates on SAP S/4HANA with two Value Added Networks (TrueCommerce and SPS Commerce), trading with 80+ partners globally across X12, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms standards. The SAP EDI Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and optimization of this EDI environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all EDI trading partner integrations, focusing on operational excellence: transaction monitoring, IDoc lifecycle management, partner testing and onboarding, and platform administration. The role emphasizes SAP-integrated EDI operations and partner lifecycle management rather than custom software development. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position based in Mexico.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and monitor EDI transaction flows across all global trading partners (X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms), investigate and resolve transaction failures, rejected documents, and data mismatches
  • Perform daily IDoc monitoring in SAP S/4HANA: identify failed or stuck IDocs, reprocess, and resolve root causes
  • Configure and maintain SAP EDI partner profiles, output types, message types, port assignments, and IDoc processing rules
  • Troubleshoot SAP-side EDI failures and coordinate with the SAP development team on integration issues
  • Respond to and manage production EDI incidents, including root cause analysis, resolution, and stakeholder communication during critical failures
  • Manage end-to-end trading partner onboarding: requirements gathering, EDI mapping setup, testing, certification, and go-live
  • Serve as primary point of contact for trading partner EDI teams, retailer compliance departments, and internal stakeholders including Supply Chain and Finance
  • Administer SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, and EDICOM platforms: user management, map configuration, partner setup, transaction monitoring
  • Work directly with EDI Value Added Network (VAN) providers on configuration, troubleshooting, error correction, and error reporting
  • Ensure compliance with retailer-specific EDI requirements across all active trading partners
  • Maintain trading partner matrix, EDI operations documentation, and operational metrics reporting
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline EDI operations, error detection, reporting, and daily workflows
  • Submit weekly status reports per IT team requirements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in EDI operations, EDI analysis, or B2B integration support
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) in an EDI context
  • Demonstrated experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms EDI standards
  • Experience working directly with EDI VANs and middleware platforms (SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, EDICOM, or comparable) on configuration, troubleshooting, and error resolution
  • Experience supporting EDI integrations for retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing trading partners
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for daily interaction with US-based team and English-speaking trading partners
  • Self-directed work style with the ability to manage daily operations independently across time zones
  • Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) and a willingness to integrate AI into daily work processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
Technical Skills
  • SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, and/or EDICOM platform administration and daily operations
  • ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms EDI transaction standards and troubleshooting
  • SAP S/4HANA or ECC EDI configuration: IDoc processing, partner profiles, output types, port assignments, and SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with retailer compliance programs (Walmart Retail link, Amazon Vendor Central EDI, Target Partners Online, CommerceHub, Order Stream, Rithum)
  • ABAP debugging skills for troubleshooting
  • Spanish fluency for local office coordination
