Dematic is seeking a SAP BTP developer to join the Asset Lifecycle Management global team. The role focuses on SAP BTP backend development (CAP) with Java, contributing to operation and enhancement of BTP applications across a global IT services context.

You will work in agile squads, create and refine software solutions, review code, fix issues, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver sustainable business value. English communication is required in multinational teams.

Formación

• Several years of experience in software development.
• Familiar with one of the listed technologies and open to others: SAP BTP CAP Java (backend), SAP Fiori (frontend), SAP Build Process Automation.
• Preferably knowledge in Java.
• Knowledge of the SAP BTP Platform.
• Experience in cloud-based software development.
• Proactive contribution to improvements and ideas for the product, beyond pure software development.
• Holistic view of the developed solution: from conception to operation.
• Enjoy agile working methods (e.g. Scrum) and optimizing systems.
• Enjoy working in international teams and communicate confidently in English.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development of global BTP applications with the team.
• Work in agile teams focused on BTP CAP Java development to create business value.
• Create, optimize and update software applications.
• Question user stories and requirements for plausibility and consistency, design and implement technical solutions
• Review code and test user stories and features against acceptance criteria
• Search for bugs and fix them
• Collaborate with other development teams or external providers to find optimal solutions
• The team’s service covers asset lifecycle processes and vehicle data supporting new/used/rental business.

Your Role:

SAP BTP developer will be part of Asset Lifecycle Management global team responsible for operation and development of SAP BTP solutions. Your responsibility is to maintain, enhance and improve the applications and services of your functional team and thereby be a significant contributor to the IT Services delivered by KION Group IT. Your focus within BTP will be set on the BTP backend development with SAP BTP Cloud Application Programming (CAP).

• Specifically, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing and updating software applications.

• Reviewing the code & testing user stories and features with regards to acceptance criteria
• Searching for bugs and fixing them
• Working on technical details with other development teams or external service providers to find the best technical solution

• Preferably you have knowledge in Java
• You know the SAP BTP Platform
• Experience in cloud-based software development
