A leading cable and wire manufacturer in Colima, Mexico is seeking a Sales Specialist to provide excellent service to customers and support sales activities. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, experience in technical sales for the automotive industry, and proficiency in both English and Spanish. Major responsibilities include establishing relationships with key accounts, meeting sales targets, and driving regional strategy. Formación

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Sales Specialist
Position objective

In this position you will provide timely and accurate service to customers with active support in the commercial development of our sales activities. You will respond to customer concerns utilizing positive resolution techniques and provide the customer with other specialized assistance as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, Electric, Mechanical or related Engineering.
  • Verifiable experience in technical sales for automotive industry.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish
  • 3 years or more of selling plastic products and copper wiring (preferred)
  • Ability to understand the functionality of a product
  • MS Office Proficient
  • Availability of travel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
Main responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain productive executive relationships with key contacts in large accounts assigned to the team.
  • Coordinate the participation of the team to achieve account performance and meet customer expectations.
  • Meet profitable and strategic sales volume targets for the department.
  • Drive the strategy for the entire region, collaborating with other regions like EMEA and APAC to ensure unified and aligned efforts.
  • Continuously understand and address customer needs within the cable industry.
  • Lead internal efforts to generate tailored solutions for customers.
  • Attract new customers and retain current long-term customers.
  • Conduct negotiations with clients and maintain active communication for contracts and processes.
  • Provide product proposals and participate in presentations for customers.
  • Perform operational productivity analysis and support the development and growth of the department through product development and sales activities.
  • Implement methodologies for the introduction of new products and evaluate engineering changes.
  • Validate customer requirements and ensure that solutions meet the needs and expectations of customers.
  • Prepare high-level presentations and dashboards to be presented to top management.
  • Keep track of weekly sales, implementation of new projects and potential opportunities within the department.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Sales Managers, and Key Account Managers to ensure effective management of the product portfolio.
