Purpose of Role

The Data Visualization Dev is responsible for designing, developing and handle interactive dashboards using Power BI and develop reporting via an OLAP cube to Excel.

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Power BI, ensure user-friendly dashboards with actionable insights.
• Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends that support business objectives, provide detailed interpretation of data findings through visualizations.
• Reporting & Visualization: Develop regular reports highlighting critical metrics discovered through analysis, present actionable insights derived from visualizations clearly to key partners.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, understand visualization needs, provide tailored visualization support based on department-specific requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities improving processes involved in dashboard development, continuously enhancing decision-making capabilities overall.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

• Proactively diagnose issues, propose effective solutions promptly when needed.
• Collaborate closely with commercial and technical teams acting as key partner providing necessary visualization support.
• Display strong leadership skills engaging, empowering team members fostering collaborative work environment.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Studies in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced English (90%).
• Experience with Power BI development.
• Certification will be an asset.
• Extensive professional experience in data modelling.
• Very high level of SQL.
• Previous experience with various ETL tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical skills and strong organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• A driven self-starter, obsessed with winning and implementing brilliantly.
