BairesDev is seeking a Research Engineer to develop state-of-the-art foundation models and multimodal systems. You will lead exploration of novel ML methods, applying your mathematical background to push the boundaries of current ML technology.

The role is fully remote, with competitive compensation in USD or local currency, and a supportive, global team of top 1% talent. You will design and implement large-scale models using PyTorch or JAX and translate research into scalable components.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning Research or Software Engineering.
• Proven track record of novel research in foundation models, multimodal systems, or RL.
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Strong mathematical foundations and experience with advanced ML methods.
• Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in CS/ML or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct original research to develop novel ML methods, including RL, VLMs, and diffusion models.
• Design and implement large-scale foundation models and multimodal systems using PyTorch or JAX.
• Apply strong mathematical foundations to solve problems in model architecture and training stability.

What We Are Looking For
