Job summary

Heypulpo is seeking a skilled Video Editor to turn raw footage into polished stories for U.S. clients, working remotely from Mexico. You’ll collaborate with a creative team to craft engaging social media content, websites, and promotional materials.

A strong portfolio from 1–2 years of editing and proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop are essential. You will manage multiple projects, apply color grading, sound design, and motion graphics, and stay current with

Qualifications

• English proficiency
• 1–2 years of video editing experience with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and After Effects
• Experience with Photoshop or similar photo editing software
• Solid grasp of editing principles: color grading, sound editing and motion graphics
• Familiarity with common video formats and codecs
• Your own computer capable of running editing software such as Final Cut Pro

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm new video ideas with the creative team.
• Edit raw footage into compelling content for social media, websites and promotional materials.
• Ensure the narrative flows logically and smoothly.
• Add visual effects, graphics and animation to strengthen the story.
• Revise edits based on stakeholder feedback.
• Organize and archive video assets.
• Manage multiple projects at once and hit deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date with editing software, techniques and trends.
