Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Multifamily, to own search for a portfolio of multifamily clients. You’ll shape technical roadmap, prioritize content, and steer ranking strategies in collaboration with writers and AI.

You will run audits, optimize on-page, manage local and multi-location SEO, report in GA4 and Search Console, and set quarterly client roadmaps. Strong US-English calls and agency experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: audits and fixes performed.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for multifamily or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
