A nearshore talent partner is seeking a skilled developer to build scalable web applications using Ruby and the Rails framework. Responsibilities include implementing server-side logic and developing RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate has strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, experience with PostgreSQL, and is effective in remote, cross-functional teams. This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in Mexico and operates under a contractor scheme.

Formación

• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, including MVC, ORM, and RESTful design.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and schema design.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) for integration purposes.
• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work in remote, cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby and the Rails framework.
• Implement server-side logic, develop RESTful APIs, and manage background jobs.
