Xideral is seeking an experienced RPG Operations / RPG Developer to join a remote team. The role focuses on development, maintenance and production support for IBM i applications, using RPG programming, DB2/400 and SQL for iSeries.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of RPG experience, hands-on IBM i, and strong RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-Format RPG skills, plus DB2 for i and SQL for iSeries. Advanced English is mandatory, and familiarity with AWS is a plus.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional RPG programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with IBM i / AS/400.
• Strong experience with RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-Format RPG.
• Experience with DB2 for i and SQL for iSeries.
• Advanced English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and support applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform.
• Perform programming and application maintenance using RPG/400, RPGLE, and Free-Format RPG.
• Work with DB2 for i and SQL for iSeries.
• Support database design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze and resolve application incidents and technical issues.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications.
• Monitor and prioritize technical tasks according to business and project requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure application stability and availability.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• AWS production support experience will be considered a plus.
