Outlier offers a remote program for LatAm engineers to contribute as QA Coders, helping to train AI models in code generation. This is a freelance 1099 opportunity open to Latin America, including Mexico. Earn up to $34 USD/hr with additional incentives and occasional project bonuses.

Core project work pays up to $34 USD/hr, plus a 7.5% Mission incentive and an 11% top-quartile boost on select projects. You can work flexibly from anywhere with access to leading LLMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions—accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models and push the boundaries of their coding ability.
