BairesDev is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and maintain a clinical health-data pipeline backend using async Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB.

You will work 100% remotely with flexible hours, focusing on secure authentication, containerized environments, and reliable data handling. This role offers USD or local currency compensation and opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.12 and async FastAPI development.
• Experience with MongoDB, Beanie ODM for async persistence.
• Solid understanding of OAuth/OIDC and JWT authentication.
• Proficient in English.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain async backend services with Python and FastAPI.
• Manage persistence layer using MongoDB (Beanie ODM).
• Implement OAuth/OIDC and JWT authentication across providers.
• Work with Docker and docker-compose in containerized environments.
• Contribute to clinical health-data pipeline and MCP server.
