Qualifications

• 4+ years of Backend Engineering experience focused on PHP development.
• Proven expertise with PHP 7.4+/8+ and MVC frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid proficiency in SQL databases: MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL.
• Experience modernizing and refactoring legacy code for performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using PHP 7.4+/8+ and frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support frontend integrations and third-party services.
• Lead refactoring to improve maintainability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize database schemas and queries using MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices.
