Go Lean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) for a remote chiropractic clinic. This role requires sharp, proactive, detail-oriented support to manage billing, insurance verification, claims, and reporting, with ownership of workflow improvements.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, can work independently, and builds trust with the provider and care team while maintaining high accuracy on sensitive information.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience in a previous role.

Mansioni

• Verify patient insurance after check-in and document accurately.
• Review denied claims and assist with claim reprocessing; track issues.
• Review and process Explanation of Benefits documents and clear backlogs.
• Review outstanding balances and coordinate resolution steps.
• Support claims workflows for providers like Cigna and VA; escalate when needed.
• Assist with vendor payment coordination and ensure timely task completion.
• Monitor SOAP notes for completion and compliance; flag gaps.
• Track missed/canceled appointments and identify revenue-impacting trends.
• Prepare reports on balances, missed appointments, EOB backlog, and other metrics.
