TeamStation AI is seeking a Kafka Platform Engineer for a 100% remote role across Latin America. You will architect, deploy, and scale Confluent Kafka, enforce SSL/TLS, ACLs, and RBAC, and build robust monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

The position emphasizes automation with Ansible and Terraform and operates in a security-conscious, high-availability environment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data streams are reliable, secure, and scalable while aligning with US

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing production Confluent Kafka clusters.
• StrongHA and distributed systems knowledge for high availability.
• Experience securing Kafka with SSL/TLS, ACLs, and RBAC.
• Experience building monitoring stacks for Kafka (Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain on-prem Confluent Kafka clusters.
• Ensure security controls and robust authentication/authorization.
• Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate deployment with IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
