Job summary

Grupo Milpe is seeking a Remote Inventory Analyst to join our logistics team. You will track inventory levels, analyze stock movements, and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity across locations.

Work from anywhere with a focus on improving inventory accuracy, reducing shrinkage, and collaborating with procurement to forecast demand. Strong Excel skills and experience with inventory systems are required for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze inventory levels and stock movements across all systems.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
• Generate reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and stock valuation.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and manage stock replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
• Utilize inventory management software and tools to maintain data integrity.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend appropriate actions.
