A leading open source software company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead their MAAS team. The role is focused on developing private bare-metal infrastructure solutions. Candidates should have experience in software development and technical leadership. You will manage a distributed team and ensure modern software practices while driving innovation in data center technology. This position offers a remote work environment with regular opportunities for international travel and a personal learning budget.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a background in Computer Science.
• Proven experience delivering software using Python, Golang, or similar languages.
• Experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu preferred).
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a distributed team of engineers in your time zone.
• Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams.
• Participate in the engineering process through code and architectural review.
• Travel to internal and external global events for 4 to 6 weeks per year.
