Job Title: Remote Digital Strategist (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America, ideally from Colombia

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $2,500 - 4,000 USD/month depending on experience paid via Gusto

Schedule: Monday - Friday, business hours Central Time

Job Overview:

We’re hiring a Generalist Digital Strategist who can lead end-to-end growth strategies for multiple clients across a variety of industries. This role blends creative thinking, technical understanding, content strategy, analytics, paid media familiarity, and strong client communication.

If you love identifying growth opportunities, diagnosing digital performance issues, and turning insights into clear, actionable plans — this is your role.

Responsibilities:
Strategy & Client Leadership
  • Own digital strategy across a portfolio of clients, ensuring plans align with business goals.
  • Conduct audits and diagnose issues across content, UX, analytics, search, ads, and conversion paths.
  • Translate insights into prioritized roadmaps with clear recommendations clients can understand.
  • Build and manage reporting frameworks that highlight results, learnings, and opportunities.
  • Communicate strategy updates and guide clients through progress, pivots, and next steps.
Content & Messaging
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities across the entire funnel.
  • Create structured content briefs that writers and designers can easily execute.
  • Build content calendars and messaging frameworks supporting traffic, conversions, and brand clarity.
  • Ensure all content aligns with search intent, brand voice, and conversion goals.
Search, Discoverability & Technical Insight

While this is a generalist role, a strong understanding of modern search is essential. You should understand:

  • Technical SEO fundamentals (crawlability, indexation, CWV, site structure).
  • How to quickly audit a website and diagnose high-impact issues.
  • The evolving landscape of AI-driven search and how it affects visibility.
  • Local SEO basics, including Google Business Profile optimization.
Paid Media Familiarity (Google & Meta Ads)

You don’t need to be a dedicated media buyer, but you should understand:

  • How Google Ads and Meta Ads work at a strategic level
  • Key metrics, signals, and how to interpret paid performance reports
  • How paid and organic channels support each other in a full-funnel strategy
  • When and why a client should invest in ads
  • Landing page best practices for quality score, conversion rate, and ad relevance

This allows you to collaborate with paid specialists and make informed cross-channel recommendations.

Performance, Data, & Optimization
  • Analyze performance across channels (organic, paid, email, social, etc.).
  • Identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Recommend improvements to landing pages, messaging, user flow, and funnel structure.
  • Collaborate with creatives, developers, and account managers as needed.

Technical & Analytical Strength
  • Ability to quickly audit a website and diagnose issues.
  • Comfort making data-driven decisions and explaining your reasoning.
  • Strong instincts across technical SEO, content quality, UX, analytics, and paid channel fundamentals.
Tool Proficiency

Comfort with (or mastery of) the following tools or close equivalents:

  • Ahrefs or Semrush
  • Google Search Console
  • GA4
  • Google Ads & Meta Ads Manager
  • Screaming Frog / Sitebulb
  • PageSpeed / Core Web Vitals tools
  • Notion, ClickUp, or similar systems for SOPs and project management
