Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines that support enterprise-wide data needs. You will model data, transform it for analytics, and collaborate with analysts, scientists, and product teams.

The role focuses on data quality, performance, and governance across cloud and on-premise platforms, with a strong emphasis on SQL, Python, and modern data tooling. Remote-friendly in Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 3–5 years of data engineering experience.
• Proficient in SQL and data transformation tools such as Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark, Glue.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Model and optimize data structures to support analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and monitoring across pipelines.
• Develop SQL queries and transformations for analytics and ops.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and cost.
• Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
