Bluelight is a leading software consultancy actively expanding across the United States and the Americas. We seek a senior DevOps/SRE professional to design, deploy, and secure scalable cloud infrastructure, manage IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and on-call incidents.

You will collaborate with diverse teams on challenging projects that leverage modern technologies and foster professional growth. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps, strong AWS experience, and a security-first mindset.

Formación

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3)
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with deployment automation and tested rollback paths, including rollback drills
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar)
• Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets
• Security-first mindset: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems
• Ability to overlap US business hours

• Experience with S3 Object Lock and long-term archival for audit/compliance retention

• Experience in compliance-sensitive or audit-heavy domains (e.g., fintech, telecom/TCPA compliance)

Responsabilidades

• Design and operate scalable AWS-based deployments for multi-tenant environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated deployment and rollback processes.
• Ensure security/compliance through vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and hardening practices.
• Support SOC 2 audits and client security reviews.
• Handle incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate on challenging projects with modern technologies and teams.
• Overlap US business hours to coordinate with clients and teams.
