Placements24 is seeking an Operational Safety Analyst for a fully remote role focused on aviation safety across global operations. You will analyze data, assess risks, and drive improvements in SMS and regulatory compliance for clients worldwide, including Mérida, MX.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in aviation safety, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Spanish and English. You will work independently in a remote-first environment and contribute to safety program development and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Safety Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation safety, operations, or related field.
• Proven experience with SMS and risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of ICAO/EASA/FAA/DGAC regulations and safety standards.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Analyze safety data, incident reports, and audit findings to identify trends and hazards.
• Develop and implement proactive safety risk management strategies and mitigation actions.
• Conduct safety assessments and audits of operations and SMS.
• Prepare detailed safety reports, recommendations, and action plans for clients.
• Facilitate safety meetings, risk assessments, and hazard identification workshops.
• Stay current with evolving aviation safety regulations and industry trends.
• Support development and delivery of aviation safety training programs.
• Maintain records of safety data, assessments, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with remote teams and clients across locations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety methodologies and tools.
