Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers for a fully remote, flexible contract in Querétaro to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code. You will write solutions, review AI outputs, and provide expert feedback to help AI systems think like real developers.

You’ll work across languages, identify bugs, and stress-test prompts while maintaining high standards of code quality. This role offers autonomy, ongoing opportunities, and the ability to set your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Software Eng.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript)
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and software design fundamentals
• Ability to read, write, and reason about code with clarity
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across multiple languages and frameworks
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices
• Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works or doesn’t
• Design challenging coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities
• Rank AI-generated solutions by engineering quality and maintainability
• Work independently and asynchronously with flexible hours
