A global energy services company is seeking a Laboratory Stimulation Engineer based in Reforma, Chiapas. This role requires a degree in a STEM field and at least 3 years of experience in laboratories related to stimulation or cementing. Candidates should possess strong proficiency in fluid testing and advanced English skills. You will be responsible for ensuring laboratory safety standards and documenting research. Competitive compensation is offered depending on experience.

Formación

  • 3+ years of verifiable experience in Stimulation, Cementing or Pumping Laboratory.
  • Ability to apply theories, principles, and practices for research and development.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop operational familiarity with the chemical hygiene plan and HSE laboratory safety.
  • Document progress in laboratory notebooks and reports.
  • Respond to customer needs as directed by scientific leaders.

Conocimientos

Proficiency in running fluid tests in laboratory and field
Advanced English proficient
Understanding of HSE standards

Educación

Degree in STEM careers – Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or similar

Job Duties
  • Develops operational familiarity with the chemical hygiene plan and the current HSE laboratory safety standards.
  • Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties.
  • Applies theories, principles and practices to the research and development of new and improved products, processes and procedures.
  • Performs routine research and experimentation at the direction of Scientific Leader, Scientific Advisor and Team Leaders.
  • Documents progress in laboratory notebooks, reports, procedures and designs.
  • Communicates occasionally with technical client personnel.
  • Responds as directed by Scientific Leader, Scientific Advisor and Team Leaders to customers needs.
  • Participates in professional societies.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
Qualifications
  • Degree in STEM careers – Petroleum, Chemical, Eng., or similar.
  • +3 years of verifiable experience in Stimulation, Cementing or Pumping Laboratory.
  • Proficiency in running fluid tests in laboratory and field.
  • Advanced English proficient.
  • Promotes the company’s HSE standards, complying with all procedures, environmental regulations, and local safety requirements.
