Una empresa automotriz líder en Saltillo busca un Ingeniero de Calidad para liderar el equipo en la identificación y resolución de problemas de calidad. Se requiere un título en ingeniería y más de 8 años de experiencia en mecanismos de carrocería. La posición es 100% presencial. Se ofrecen beneficios por encima de la ley y contratación directa.

Formación

• Mínimo de 8 años de experiencia relacionada en componentes de carrocería, interior y chasis.
• Experiencia previa en departamento de ingeniería o planta de vehículos.
• Dominio de inglés y idioma del plant.

Responsabilidades

• Definir acciones de contención para protección del cliente.
• Realizar diagnósticos de problemas de vehículo y análisis de causa raíz.
• Gestionar las actividades diarias de su equipo.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited university (other Engineering degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered)
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in Body, Interior & Chassis components.
• Previous experience in Engineering Department, Vehicle/mechanic Plant or Project team
• Ability to lead an Engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal from High Level Meetings down to the Shop Floor
• Ability to work off shift hours as necessary
• Self-motivated and directed
• Ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects
• Rigorous and pragmatic
• Languages: plant language & English

Preferred

• Masters Degree
• Green belt
• World Class Manufacturing Experience

Job Description

• Define containment actions to apply for customer protection (including supplier Issues)
• Do vehicle issue diagnosis and root cause analysis
• Ensure that his team carries out the pre-analysis activities on time
• Do risk assessments and lead corrective action plans
• Guarantee the product – process maturity of the components of his perimeter management of serial life (windows change management).
• Propose alternative product solution in case of issues (as shortage) to avoid to stop mass production in the plant
• Participate in Quality ENG tech clubs.
• Implementation of good idea and standards (Read Across)
• Ensure the right application in the plant of the technical requirements and the meta function “métiers” standards of his perimeter
• Ensure that the skills of his team is at the right level
• Ensure the management activities of his team (daily management control meeting)
• Ensure that his team is working in safety
• Lead quality KPI management to achieve quality objectives, driving improvement/corrective actions and escalation
• Resolution of systemic/chronic or major quality issues (Top Warranty, Recalls, …)
• Technical support Yard Holds / Product Related Issues (PRI’s) technical referent inside the PRI.
• Set-up / On-going Controls for Process / product Standards for Vehicle & System Functional Objectives (i.e. ADAS, BSR, FEA)
