Marelli Electronic Systems is seeking a Quality Failure Analyst to join the Plant team in Aguascalientes, Mexico. You will analyze, investigate, and resolve quality failures across electronic products and manufacturing processes.

You will work with production, engineering, supplier quality, and customer quality teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Experience in quality assurance or quality control, particularly in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and statistical analysis software.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Quality Failure Analyst - Warranty o join the Electronic Systems Plant team, reporting directly to the Plant Manufacturing Quality Manager.

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

TheQuality Failure Analystis responsible for analyzing, investigating, and resolving quality failures related to electronic products, assemblies, components, and manufacturing processes at the Aguascalientes plant. This role supports production, engineering, supplier quality, and customer quality teams by identifying root causes of defects, implementing corrective actions, and preventing recurrence.

The position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of electronics manufacturing, and experience with quality tools, failure analysis methods, and continuous improvement practices.

Your Responsibilities will be:
  • Quality Planning:Develop and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and methodologiestailored to electronic systems. Design comprehensive quality plans and testing strategies to ensure productreliability and performance.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing of electronic components and systems, includingfunctional, performance, and durability tests. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely withengineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Process Improvement:Analyze data from testing and other metrics to identify areas for processimprovement. Advocate for best practices in quality management, leading efforts to enhance product qualityand reduce defects.
  • Compliance and Standards:Ensure that all products comply with industry standards and regulatoryrequirements. Keep abreast of industry developments and integrate relevant standards into quality practices.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including test results, defectreports, and quality metrics. Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and present them to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with design, manufacturing, and other cross-functionalteams to ensure integrated quality throughout the product lifecycle. Facilitate quality reviews and workshopsto promote quality awareness.
  • Training and Development:Provide training and support to team members on quality methods and tools.Lead initiatives to improve the overall quality culture within the organization.
What Qualifications you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • Experience in quality assurance or quality control, particularly in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and statistical analysissoftware.

  • Understanding of regulatory standards relevant to electronic systems.
