Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned quality leader in Mexico to advance our quality system and CAPA program at a manufacturing site in TJ. The role focuses on maintaining product quality and safety for medical devices, coordinating root-cause investigations, and driving process improvements across functions.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, a related degree or equivalent work background, and strong English skills. Experience with QSR, CAPA, and validation is preferred.

Formación

  • 8+ years of experience preferred.
  • Advanced English is required.
  • Medical industry experience preferred.
  • PowerBI and AI knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and implement interdepartmental and multifunctional relations to promote the quality system (QSR).
  • Influence metrics of the quality system (CAPA, training, completion, complaints).
  • Manage quality systems, processes, and procedures to guarantee product quality and safety.
  • Lead or assist in resolving non-conformities and CAPA actions.
  • Lead development of better processes and streamline existing ones.
  • Collaborate to improve processes and boost efficiency.
  • Manage the operations quality control team to meet goals.
  • Review/approve non-conforming material and change requests.
  • Provide leadership, problem solving, and coaching to team members.
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing operations, including verification and validation.
  • Coordinate root cause investigations with multifunctional teams.
  • Follow safety rules to prevent accidents and environmental issues.
  • Participate in projects to reduce plant costs.
  • Responsible for validation and maintenance of test methods and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement interdepartmental and multifunctional/organizational relations to promote the requirements of the quality system (QSR).
  • Influence the metrics of the quality system, such as corrective and preventive actions, training metrics, completion metrics, and resolution of complaints, NCR, etc.
  • Manage quality systems, processes, and procedures to guarantee the quality and safety of the product in accordance with the quality system.
  • Manage, lead and/or assist in the resolution of non‑conformities and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead the development of new and better‑quality processes; streamline existing processes.
  • Collaborate in all functions to improve processes and boost efficiency.
  • Manage the operations quality control team to ensure that the goals are met.
  • Review/approve non‑conforming material and change requests.
  • Provide leadership and facilitate problem solving, resource utilization, career guidance, coaching, and mentoring of team members.
  • Have experience in the manufacturing operations of medical devices, including verification and validation of processes and test methods.
  • Coordinate with multifunctional teams on root cause investigations using analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Follow safety rules to avoid accidents, occupational diseases, and environmental contingencies within the plant.
  • Participate and elaborate projects to reduce plant costs.
  • Be responsible for the validation, maintenance, and establishment of test methods and measurement equipment.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Advanced English
  • Medical industry experience preferred
  • PowerBI and AI knowledge preferred
