A global quality assurance provider in Mexico seeks a Quality Inspector with experience in Softlines and hardlines industries. You will conduct on-site quality inspections, ensuring adherence to AQL standards and relevant regulations. Ideal candidates have over 2 years in quality management, strong ethics, and communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to international trade and maintain high standards in product quality.

Formación

• 2+ years experience in quality management in Softlines/Garment industry.
• Experience in quality management in hardlines (electronics, appliances, furniture).
• Knowledge of AQL standards and relevant safety and quality regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform on-site quality inspections of clients’ products.
• Check email daily for inspection documents.
• Attend inspections on time and communicate professionally with suppliers.
• Fulfill inspection reports according to company procedures.

Conocimientos

Quality management in Softlines/Garment industry

Quality management in hardlines (electronics, appliances, furniture)

Knowledge of AQL standards

Good command of English

Job Description

What You Will Do

QIMA's Operations team is a place where you can grow your technical and management skills – while making a real contribution to the improvement of international trade. Every year, we deliver some 140,000 inspections, audits, and lab tests, helping our clients secure their supply chains. Join our Operations team and discover the meaning of bringing Trust to Global Trade.

Your Responsibilities

Your main duties will revolve around on-site quality inspections of our clients’ products.

• Check email daily in order to receive inspection documents;
• Attend to inspections on time and communicate with supplier in a professional way;
• Perform the inspection of the merchandise according with company procedures. Supervise the stuffing of the containers according with company procedures;
• Fulfill inspection reports according with company procedures and time lines.

Qualifications

The Skills We’re Looking For

• ·2 years (or more) experience in quality management, especially in Softlines / Garment industry
• Experience in quality management, especially hardlines (electronics, apliances, furniture) (2 years or more);
• Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations;

It also helps if you have:

• Practical experience with Softlines or Garment manufacturing technology
• Good command of English (spoken and written);
• Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics.
