Job summary

Flex is seeking a Quality Compliance Manager for its Guadalajara, North Campus team. You will lead quality systems conformance, drive internal and external audits, and develop training on regulatory requirements to strengthen product quality across manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and collaboration with various functions to implement quality standards in electronics manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering preferred.
• Consistent experience in quality within manufacturing, electronics exposure.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/TL 9000.
• Experience with SMT or Polymeric processes.
• Experience with regulatory agencies (UL, CSA, CCC).
• Knowledge in AS 9100 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hold and possibly supervise the site's Quality Compliance team to ensure regulatory and quality system conformance.
• Perform internal audits and review results to identify trends and improvements.
• Engage in external audits with customers, regulators, and agencies.
• Verify implementation of applicable regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop training programs related to regulations or quality systems.
• Lead audit plans, checklists, and execution; maintain audit records.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely effectiveness.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Compliance Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus

What a typical day looks like:

• Hold up and may supervise the site's Quality Compliance team to assure the conformance of all organization's regulatory and quality systems requirements.
• Perform internal audits and/or review results from Quality Compliance team to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Verify compliance and conformance to all regulatory and quality systems requirements, including both Customer and Flex mandated.
• Engage in External Audit Processes (Customers', Regulatory, Government Agencies, etc.).
• Verify the proper implementation and effectiveness of the applicable Regulations, Standards, Policies, Directives and Level 1 Procedures in the organization.
• Help any area that requires help to implement regulatory and quality requirements into their processes.
• Develop training programs for internal users in subjects related to Regulations or Quality Systems.
• Execute the formation of Regulatory and Quality Systems skilled employees that help the organization.
• Develop Internal / External Audits Programs.
• Prepare the Audit Plan and related Audit Checklists.
• Execute Audits according to the plan, prepare the audit reports and maintain all audit related records.
• Plan, execute and follow up any Area/Process Audit when required by the organization.
• Participate as a key member for all external audits activities and maintain records as required.
• Follow up on internal and external corrective actions to ensure timely implementation and validate their effectiveness.
• Create audit reports that identify any Non-Conformance or Opportunities for Improvement found during the audit process.
• Document all audit findings and request the corrective / preventive actions needed.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering is preferred.
• Consistent experience in similar role in quality within manufacturing industry and involvement in electronic products.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/TL 9000.
• Experience working with SMT or Polymeric processes.
• Experience with regulatory agencies e.g. UL, CSA y CCC, among others.
• Knowledge in AS 9100 (aerospace) will be a plus.
