ITJ in Tijuana, Mexico is seeking a QA Engineer to join our software testing team. You will conduct manual testing, design and execute test cases, and collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

This role emphasizes API testing with Postman, UI and integration testing, and contributing to agile processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent and hands-on experience with enterprise web applications.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, or higher.
• Hands-on experience testing enterprise web applications.
• Strong functional testing skills across UI, API, and integration testing.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify and document defects
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for new features to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Perform API testing to validate data integrity, security, and functionality
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Participate in agile development processes, providing valuable feedback to enhance product quality
• Identify and report issues through bug tracking systems
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues
