Manual QA Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer, with some experience using Playwright.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing, identify defects, and report findings clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to define test strategies and ensure coverage of business requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, provide QA estimates, and ensure test cases align with acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to the integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, supporting test execution in automated workflows.
• Help triage and reproduce reported issues and provide clear documentation of bugs and test results.
• Promote and apply QA best practices within Agile development teams.

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Manual QA, with at least 1+ year of hands‑on experience using Playwright for test automation.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software testing principles, and defect management.
• Experience working with bug tracking systems (e.g., Click Up, Jira) and version control (e.g., GitLab).
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems, specifically GitLab, and integrating automated tests into CI pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to API testing, performance testing, or security validation practices.
• Familiarity with test management platforms and cloud‑based device testing services.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience tracking tasks in ClickUp.
• iOS and Android mobile automation is a big plus.
