Platzi is seeking a high-performing Public Sector Partnerships Lead to drive revenue growth and manage strategic relationships with government agencies, educational institutions, and multilateral organizations. You will own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contracts, navigating complex procurement processes and leveraging public sector vehicles.

  • 6+ years in B2B or enterprise software sales.
  • 3+ years directly selling to public sector clients.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement and compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

  • Build relationships with senior government stakeholders, procurement officers, and executives.
  • Drive revenue within a designated territory and meet or exceed quotas.
  • Lead responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs and navigate public procurement vehicles.
  • Collaborate with internal PM, product teams and external partners on tailored solutions.
  • Develop account/territory plans and maintain CRM pipeline and forecast.

Summary

We are seeking a high-performing Public Sector Partnerships Lead to drive revenue growth and manage strategic relationships within government agencies, educational institutions, and multilateral organizations.

In this role, you will lead the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract execution, while navigating complex public procurement frameworks. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in enterprise B2B sales and a deep understanding of government buying behavior.

Core Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with senior government stakeholders, procurement officers, and C-level executives.
  • Drive Revenue: Manage a designated territory to identify new business opportunities and consistently meet or exceed annual sales quotas.
  • Navigate Procurement: Lead responses to formal government requests, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, while leveraging specialized public contract vehicles.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with internal project managers, product teams, and external partners to deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive account and territory plans, maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and revenue forecast within the CRM.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of successful B2B or enterprise software sales experience, with at least 3 years directly selling to public sector clients.
  • Strong expertise in public sector compliance, government funding mechanisms, and complex, long-cycle procurement processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including when briefing government officials and other policymakers.
  • Ability to travel as needed to client sites, conferences, and industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
