A leading automotive manufacturer in Mexico is looking for a PT Calibration Commodity Supervisor. The role involves leading the calibration section for Gas and Hybrid Powerpack applications, managing calibration activities, and ensuring effective communication. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in P/T Calibration and possess strong leadership skills. This position also requires a willingness to travel as needed.

Formación

  • 7+ years experience of P/T Calibration including program delivery.
  • Understanding of vehicle and dyno calibration processes.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead powertrain calibration section for engine calibrations.
  • Manage timing and delivery of calibration activities.
  • Lead the resolution of launch issues during new model launches.
  • Conduct performance reviews and coaching for personnel.

Qualifications
  • B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or other B.S. in Engineering with adequate PT experience
  • 7+ years experience of P/T Calibration including program delivery through launch and quality feedback
  • Experience with calibration development tools
  • Understanding of both the vehicle and dyno calibration processes
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple issues on multiple programs effectively and efficiently
  • Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results
  • Effective coaching and mentoring skills
  • Willingness to Travel
Responsibilities
  • Lead powertrain calibration section to develop, signoff, and release engine calibrations for Gas and Hybrid Powerpack applications
  • Establish timing and delivery of calibration activities in support of programs
  • Manage all Powertrain calibration deliverables and attributes
  • Work with engine, transmission, vehicle engineering, VEME, climate control, and EESE to deliver attributes
  • Lead calibration section during program drives, including development, signoff, and PVP
  • Lead Quality activities and road map consolidation for Powerpack applications
  • Establish resource requirements including personnel, travel, and vehicles
  • Lead launch issue resolution of VoCF, durability and plant incidents and lead report out at new model launch meetings
  • Report program status in health chart and support VPSE Integration updates and report out at meetings
  • Lead pulse improvement initiatives for Section to remove workplace obstacles and improve team morale
  • Conduct performance reviews and coaching of section personnel and participate in GSR related workgroup discussions
