Autoliv is seeking a Prototyping Engineer for the Prototyping Line in Lerma de Villada, Mexico. You will design, develop, install, and maintain equipment for production automation and industrial systems.

You will lead PLC/HMI programming, troubleshoot equipment, and drive cost-saving improvements through data-driven problem solving. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and hands-on automation experience are required.Join Autoliv to contribute to safer mobility with cutting-edge automation and

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in process engineering, maintenance, automation, or manufacturing engineering roles.
Advanced expertise in industrial automation including PLC and HMI programming, servomotors, vision systems, laser marking and integrated electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems.

Responsabilidades

Manage PLC program traceability, updates, and modifications for retrofitted equipment, ensuring system reliability and documentation accuracy.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve machine issues and improve performance.
Support manufacturing and process engineering initiatives by improving equipment robustness and benchmarking with facilities.
Coach and develop maintenance technicians on new technologies and control systems.
