Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure fire protection codes and standards adherence.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project meetings to communicate progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment among team members.
Budget Management
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial accountability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Prepare and submit cost estimates and budget forecasts to upper management and stakeholders.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all work performed meets industry standards and complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to verify the integrity and functionality of fire protection systems.
Client Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status, milestones, and any changes to scope or timelines.
Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project, ensuring mínimal disruption to timelines and client satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications - Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, fire protection technology, or a related field preferred.
Qualifications - Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the fire protection, construction, or related industry.
Qualifications - Certifications
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
Qualifications - Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and regulations.
