Bluelight Consulting seeks a senior software project manager to drive end-to-end delivery of complex systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure milestones are met while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will oversee risk management, change control, and governance, with a preference for candidates who can overlap US hours and communicate effectively with executives. This role offers a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

• 5+ years proven project management experience on software delivery projects.
• Ability to manage fixed external deadlines with critical-path planning and buffers.
• Experience with client dependency registers, escalation paths, and governance.
• Experience with risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience across multiple concurrent workstreams with budgeting and resourcing.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
