Bluelight is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead software development programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery across complex, distributed systems.

You will drive Agile/Scrum or Kanban practices, manage client expectations, and oversee risk, scope, and vendor dependencies. The role supports remote work with US overlap and offers competitive compensation, generous PTO, flexible hours, and ongoing professional development.

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects.
• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with risk and buffer management.
• Experience managing a client dependency register with dates, owners, and escalation paths.
• Experience with risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience managing scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, timelines).
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management, translating technical concepts for non-technical clients.
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Client-focused dedication to team commitments.
• PMP, CSM, or PSM certification.
• Experience on projects with regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Experience with nearshore US-LATAM delivery teams.
