Brose North America Inc is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Mexico to drive program reporting, prototype supervision, and manufacturing coordination. You will align with production teams to meet milestones and manage launches from planning through ramp‑up, while addressing program issues across functions.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree and 5+ years in PM, including 3+ years as PM, with strong English and leadership skills to operate in an international matrix environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in a comparable field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in project management, including 3+ years as PM.
  • Motor product knowledge for window regulator and related motors.
  • Experience managing product development and industrialization in manufacturing.
  • Strong PM methodologies, planning, risk and change management.
  • Ability to lead global teams and manage customer/supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills, fluent English.

Responsabilidades

  • Responsible for project reporting and tracking, incl. status and issues.
  • Supervise prototype demands and build plans for customers.
  • Coordinate plant activities to hit internal and customer milestones.
  • Lead regular program reviews and ramp-up hand-overs.
  • Manage launch readiness, launch support and close-out coordination.
  • Resolve cross-functional issues and resource conflicts across projects.

Your Tasks
  • Responsible for project reporting and tracking, including attending periodic project review meetings, preparing the project status and reporting on program open issues and progress on the program timeline.
  • Supervise prototype demands, including customer order and build plan.
  • Coordinate Brose manufacturing plant activities in order to achieve internal and customer milestones (i.e. equipment installation, equipment run-off, run @ rate, PPAP run, etc.)
  • Arrange for regular program reviews with production team and schedule open issues meetings as required. Lead hand-over activities to the plant during ramp-up phase.
  • Responsible for project launch, including: definition of proper launch support; ensuring launch readiness and safe launch plans are in place; and coordination of activities to close the launch.
  • Facilitate the resolution of program issues, cross-functional/cross-departmental issues, and resource conflicts with other projects/departments.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management, including at least 3 years as Project Manager.
  • Motor product knowledge: Small motors for window regulator motor applications between 6-14Nm, brushed motors, 300-600g, power motors, ripple motors, sensoric motors, integrated electronics motors
  • Demonstrated experience in managing product development and industrialization projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, project planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Ability to lead global project teams and effectively manage customer and supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, customer focus, and results orientation.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management capabilities in an international matrix organization.
  • Strong process thinking mindset.
