Una empresa internacional de materiales avanzados busca un Ingeniero de Manufactura en Atlacomulco, México. Su papel será mejorar procesos de producción mediante tecnología y diseño de dispositivos de seguridad. Se requiere título universitario en Ingeniería Industrial, Diseño Industrial o Mecánica y 3 años de experiencia. Se valorará el dominio de AutoCAD y herramientas de manufactura esbelta. Formación

  • Experiencia verificable mínima de 3 años en un puesto similar.
  • Proficiencia en inglés nivel B2, C1 deseable.

Responsabilidades

  • Diseñar y mejorar dispositivos y guardias de seguridad para las máquinas.
  • Revisar y mejorar sistemáticamente los métodos de trabajo.
  • Definir y diseñar instrumentos adecuados utilizados en los procesos de producción.
  • Diseñar herramientas de producción y dispositivos de ensamblaje.
  • Coordinación con plantas en EE. UU. para transferencias de productos.
  • Participar en nuevos proyectos: distribución, inicio de equipos y capacitación de personal.
  • Coordinar eventos Kaizen para mejorar seguridad, calidad y productividad.
  • Liderar herramientas de resolución de problemas A3 y 8D.

Responsibilities
Job purpose

Its purpose is the continuous improvement of production processes in the plant, through redesigning processes, implementing technology, innovating solutions in tooling, safety guards, ergonomics, software, etc., while ensuring safe working conditions for operators in each station and promote improvements in efficiency, time reduction, energy savings, etc., in order to obtain the maximum benefit from the installed production capacity.

Main responsibilities
  • Design and improve guards and safety devices for machines, in order to maintain a safe work environment for the operator.
  • Systematically review and improve work methods and document improvements in Standard Operating Procedures, informing stakeholders and updating documents in the QMS, with the aim of driving efficiency and continuous improvement in productive operations.
  • Define, design and keep updated the appropriate measurement instruments and methods used within production processes; document changes to the Standard Operating Procedure and update procedures in the QMS.
  • Design production tooling, assembly devices, pokayokes, gauges, etc., to help keep processes updated based on the technology available on the market.
  • Coordinate with plants in the USA the actions required in cases of product transfer, therefore, know the structure of the organization, the products, customers and the manufacturing process of the products.
  • Actively participate in new projects: layouts, start‑up of new equipment and in the training of personnel in the operation the machines, devices, tools and tooling involved in the process.
  • Participate and coordinate Kaizen events focused on improving the area in terms of safety, quality and productivity.
  • Participate and lead A3, 8D’s and any other problem solving tool depending on the need of the area.
Qualifications

Requirements
  • University degree, desirable: Industrial Engineer, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineer
  • 3 years verifiable experience in a similar job position
  • Proficiency in the English language at level B2, C1 desirable
