Job summary

IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Cost Controller for client-site work in Madrid. You will drive cost reporting, CVR, and budgets, coordinating with PMs, disciplines, and procurement to ensure accurate forecasting.

You will develop cost reports using Procore, Power BI, and UDF, maintain dashboards, and support bid estimates, invoicing, and change control in a fast-paced EPCQ context. 50% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related technical field with construction/PM exposure.
• 3-6 years of professional experience in EPCQ or related industries.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational capabilities.
• Experience with data management tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Interest in PMI/AACEI certifications or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost reporting, CVR, and budget forecasting across projects.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and procurement for accurate data.
• Develop and present cost reports using Procore, Power BI, and UDF.
• Maintain dashboards, SOVs, and SOV-related contract detail.
• Support change control, invoicing, and scheduling alignment.
• Contribute to bid development, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
• Travel up to 50% and coordinate with client sites as needed.
