Dematic is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Global Operations function at a manufacturing facility within a large global organization. The role provides insights that inform strategic business decisions and helps predict future financial performance to identify cost reduction opportunities.

You will partner with the Manufacturing Controller to manage costs, inventory, and metrics, build forecasts and budgets, and ensure accuracy in standard costs and variances.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in Finance or Accounting is required.
• Exposure to standard costing is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to explain results to management and make recommendations as needed.
• Solid understanding of SAP is helpful.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with various ERP systems.
• Travel requirements up to 5-10% as needed.

Responsabilidades

• In partnership with the local Manufacturing Controller, handle costs, inventory, and metrics in Dematic’s manufacturing plant. Provide analysis, support, and strategic finance mentorship to the Plant Manager, Floor Supervisors, and other key leadership on site.
• Build financials for the factory including forecasts, monthly review of actual to forecast and plan, and support the annual budget process for that location.
• Calculate, review, and ensure accuracy in standard costs including reviews of purchase price variance and production variances.
• Support daily costing process and annual standard cost setting as required.
• Prepare upcoming workload for the manufacturing site, including backlog (booked work) and new business.
• Support the forecast of inventory in the plant.
• Calculate factory inventory reserves and evaluate the efficiency of reserves every quarter.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with all financial controls for the plant, including inventory management and cycle counts.
• Participate in reviews of pending bids for new project work along with project turnover meetings.
• Identify and drive improvements in execution in the business by collaborating with the plant manager.
