PPG Industries Tepexpan

As a production technician, you will manage the production process and ensure an organized flow through the management and optimization of human and material resources using the model. Aditionally you will follow safety and quality standards and procedures. This is to comply with the production schedule and our strategic goals.

You will work #LI-Onsite reporting to the production head in our plant located in Tepexpan.

Key Responsibilities

• You will assist Supervisors on the Production Lines, ensuring the correct use and functioning of process equipment.
• You will coordinate and evaluate staff training.
• You will manage teams by promoting teamwork, a positive work environment.
• You will analyze the results of the area's indicators and, based on their behavior, take corrective or preventive actions that help achieve the established goals.
• You will create reports that allow decision-making regarding production and staff performance.
• You will follow up and coordinate actions to ensure compliance with safety elements within the plant.
• You will improve stages of the production process through the implementation of improvement systems focused on reducing costs and time.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience 2+ years In the Chemical Industry in a similar position.
• Availability to rotate shifts.
• Language: Basic English.
